Nuclear Techniques (NT), a monthly journal since 1978, is devoted to all aspects of nuclear science and technology, theoretical or experimental. NT aims to show the latest development trend of nuclear science and technology and the latest nuclear scientific and technological achievements at home and abroad, timely reflect the current situation and academic level of nuclear science and technology of China.

The full articles published are available freely on the journal web site http://www.hjs.sinap.ac.cn and Wechat official account. And also are acquired from databases such as China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI) (articles published after 1978), CQVIP.com (articles published after 1989), and Wanfang Date (articles published after 1998).

The manuscripts of NT are mainly in the form of summary, research paper and research briefing. The main columns are:

NT has been selected into "100 Chinese Outstanding Academic Journals" and "Chinese Journal Matrix" for many times. And  NT has won the excellent Journal Review Award of Shanghai and Chinese Academy of Sciences for many times. In 2015, it won the "high quality periodical project" of China Association for science and technology. It won the title of "top 100 journals with digital influence" in 2016. In 2017, it won the title of the 4th "Chinese Excellent Science and Technology Journal", namely the Top 5000 Project. In 2017, it was supported by the special fund of Shanghai Press and Publication. In December 2018, it was supported by the "excellent construction plan of Chinese scientific and Technological Journals - academic innovation leading project" of China Association for science and technology. It was selected for the project support of "2019 China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action". It was selected in the "2020 China Excellent Periodicals Exhibition" and "2022 China Excellent Periodicals Exhibition" of Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF). And it was received the "Most Beautiful Journal Cover Award" from Science Press in 2023.
