We have developed a multi-probe system with which regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF) can be measured by the

Xe inhalation method. The system can automatically analyze data as well as determine grey and white flow and their distribution. The computer-controlled instrument comprises a

a data acquisition and analysis system

a helmet probe holder and 30 head probes. In this paper

the hardware construction and the features of the system are presented. The algorithm for cerebral blood flow analysis is also discussed.
