Simulation of BSA design and beam characteristic for fast neutron radiography using a D-T neutron source
A beam-shaping-assembly(BSA) of D-T neutron generator for fast neutron radiography was designed.The D-T neutron transportation in the BSA was simulated using the MCNP code.The neutron energy spectrum
neutron flux
γ-ray energy spectrum and γ-ray flux of the shaped neutron beam were given.The results show that the shaped neutron beam
based on 150 keV/1 mA D-T neutron generator and the designed BSA
can meet the need of the fast neutron radiography.
