Special Issue of Controlled Nuclear Fusion Power Engineering Technology | 更新时间:2024-12-06
    • Comparison of CFETR nuclear fusion power plant thermal storage technology

    • According to the latest research, the China Fusion Engineering Experimental Reactor (CFETR) nuclear fusion power plant can use thermal storage technology to solve the problem of unstable thermal power output. Research has compared various heat storage technologies and found that molten salt heat storage technology, phase change heat storage technology, and solid-phase sensible heat storage technology have potential applications. Among them, phase change thermal storage has the lowest cost and is expected to become a future research focus.
