Article Types

The paper submitted firstly should have clear arguments, reliable data, clear conclusions, and concise text. Then the document should be typeset in Word format in one column. And also the pictures and tables should be accurate in content, complete in project, clear and legible, and moderate in size. Details are as follows:

Article should be submitted in the WORD file, at least 4 pages (about 5000 words).

Title (Chinese and English): Concise and informative. Do not exceed 20 words, and do not appear abbreviations in the title.

Author (Chinese and English): Signature should be sorted according to the author's contribution and written under the heading. All the authors should have the ability of thesis defense.

Author affiliations (Chinese and English): Present the authors' affiliation addresses below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a superscript Arabic numeral immediately after the author's name and in front of the appropriate address. Each affiliation should include department, institution, and complete address, with the ZIP/postal code.

Abstract (Chinese and English): The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. Also, the sentence pattern in the abstract should be simple, fluent, and complete. English abstracts are structured long abstracts, including five elements: background, purpose, methods, results and conclusions. The elements should be accurately and completely reflected and cannot be missing. "Background" and "purpose" should be concise and clear, "method", "result", and "conclusion" should be written in detail. "Method" should clearly describe the process (research object, experimental conditions or procedures adopted). "Result" and "conclusion" should not be confused. It is best to have some important quantitative data in the "result". The conclusion is the overall judgment and evaluation obtained through comprehensive analysis and logical reasoning of the phenomena and experimental results obtained in the research process, which is the inevitable logical development of the research results.

Key words (Chinese and English): Immediately after the abstract, provide three to eight keywords, using American spelling and avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, 'and', 'of').

CLC: One or two words should be supplied to describe the research field.

Foundation and author’s information: List the funding status of this paper and the introduction of the first author and corresponding author in the footer of the first page or at the end of the article. Please give the full name of the fund and indicate the project number. Also clearly indicate the name, sex, birth, major, degree and research field of the first author, as well as the name and e-mail addresses of the corresponding author.

Body: Introduction, main body, results and discussion, conclusion are included. Avoid a subtitle in the introduction. Briefly review the research background. Relevant references, especially the latest research results in the past 2 to 3 years, should be listed. Provide sufficient details to allow the work to be reproduced by an independent researcher. Methods that are already published should be summarized, and indicated by a reference. Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Please note that professional terms should be defined; symbols, abbreviations or acronyms should be given the full name when they appear for the first time; Please use the International Standard Unit Symbol. Please use standard Chinese characters, numbers and national legal units of measurement.

Picture: Picture should be expressed in English, but the title should be expressed both in Chinese and English. Please try to provide original vector graphics that can be edited directly. Provide images in .tiff or .jpg format at 600 dpi or higher resolution. Figures are best prepared at the size you would expect them to appear in print. At this size, the optimum font size is 7pt. This journal has no color printing. Please do not use color to express data or other information.

Table: Table and its title should be expressed in English. A three-line table is used to insert the corresponding position in the WORD file. Tables should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals and placed in appropriate locations within the text.

Formula: It is recommended to insert with MathType 6 editor, not in the form of pictures. Number equations consecutively with equation numbers in parentheses flush with the right margin, as in (1). Variables are italicized in the formula.

Acknowledgments: List acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references.

Author contributions: Briefly explain each author's contribution to this article.

Reference: Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list. Number the references (numbers in square brackets) in the list in the order in which they appear in the text. Reference should be prepared in style according to the national standard format. Apart from classic literature, the cited references are recommended to be within 3 years.

Guide for Authors

1. Please visit the website: www.hjs.sinap.ac.cn, and enter Author Login to register and submit. Please set the password as a strong password with a length of 12-20 characters of "combination of letters, numbers and underscores".

2. Prepare the certification of publication, indicating that there is no such issues as signature ordering, multiple submissions, confidential content, etc.

3. From 2022, please provide "Author Contributions" in the article.

4. Normally, it will take about 16 weeks from acceptance to publication. Multi-submission is not allowed during this period. 

5. Prepare Copyright Transferring Agreement before publication signed by all authors, indicating that the rights of copyright in he articles have been transferred to Nuclear Techniques journal.

6. The accepted manuscripts are firstly published online after proofreading. Authors are not allowed to make any modification of the title, signature, affiliations, funding and other academic contents.

Charge Description

The journal charges a page charge only if the manuscript is accepted for publication. The fee is 300 RMB per page at a maximum of 5000 RMB.
