本文主要介绍一种浸渍活性炭(油棕壳炭)吸附气载放射性碘的特性,其中包括测定碘在低浓度时(1~20ppm

)的部分吸附等温线,发现在起始低浓度阶段呈直线,然后缓缓上升,最后趋于饱和。在2ppm以下的直线阶段,可用外推法得到在极低浓度时的吸附容量,并以该吸附容量估算浸渍炭用于除碘时之穿透时间。此外,还研究了环境条件(如温度、相对湿度、表面速度)变化时吸附效率改变的规律性。
The adsorption characteristics of airborne radioiodine on the impregnated charcoal were studied of partial adsoption isotherms (range of concentration of iodine was 1~20 ppm V/V) was measured of it was linear at the beginning rose slowly and reached saturation at last. By method of extrapolation the adsorption capacity corresponding to of extreme low concentration was obtained below 2 ppm. The adsorption capacity was used to evaluate breakthrough time of impregnated charcoal for removing iodine. The dependences of adsorption efficiency on the ambient conditions (temprature
relative humidity
and superficial velocity) were studied.
