F溶液从有机相中反萃取,即可得放化纯的Pa。取反萃液制源测定α计数,从而计算出

Pa含量。
A yellow precipitate
formed by adding BPHA (N-benzoyl-N-phenylhydroxylamine) into Ti (IV) solution containing trace amount of Pa (V)
can carry almost completely Pa (V) from 6 N hydrochloric acid. The precipitate is dissolved in 1% of BPHA in chloroform. By re-extracting with 0.25 M NH
4
F from the organic phase a good radiochemical purity can be obtained. The protactinium content is determined by counting activity.
