摘要

Mobley磁铁是2.5MV质子静电加速器毫微秒束流脉冲化研制中一个很关键的装置。它的作用是将加速器头部切割出的10—15ns脉冲束流经过加速后在尾部压缩成1—2ns脉冲束。Mobley磁铁的性能对脉冲束在靶上的脉宽及斑点大小起着重要的作用。要求磁场有±5×10

-4

的均匀度。该磁铁采用了积木式等结构

。通过测磁发现，磁场的均匀度只有±7×10

-4

，不能满足±5×10

-4

的设计要求。为此，调整了支撑上磁极的六个垫块厚度，磁场的均匀度提高到±3×10

，超过了原设计指标。为了研究磁屏蔽对边缘场的影响，采用霍尔差值法对边缘场进行了测量。

Abstract

The central and fringe field of a Mobley magnet were measured using nuclear magnetic resonance and Hall voltage differences method. The field uniformity can be raised from ±7×10

-4

to ±3×10

-4

by adjusting the thickness of spacers between magnetic poles. The effects of the place

thickness

width of the magnetic screen on Mobley magnet fringe field have been observed. The errors between the results of two method are analysed and the accuracy is given.
