Abstract

The transfer and distribution of the monocrotophos in the water-rice-soil system were investigated by parallel test of micro-soil simulant installation and pot culture. The results revealed that

the remainder quantity of the monocrotophos in the water-rice-soil system was 30 per cent of the total labelled value after 8 days

in which the remainder quantity in the rice plant was 8%

in soil—19%

in leaching water—2%. A notable linear relation was proved to exist between remainder consistency of the monocrotophos together with the metabolite in the micro-soil installation or earthen pot and the depth of soil. The linear regressiongives: Ĉ

=0.4480-0.0116x

=-0.9590: Ĉ

=0.4994-0.0159x

=-0.8403.
