Electron beam-irradiation method was used to prepare Cu/Sn alloy nanoparticles using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as the surfactant. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The effect of the concentration of surfactant PVA on the particle size was studied by ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer (UV-vis) and laser scattering particle size distribution analysis (LSPSDA). The average sizes were 172.1
