Background: The main control room consoles have functional requirements
so the models must be validated to simulate the real physical properties
especially the dynamic properties.Purpose: In order to described the typical verification process used in the main control room consoles seismic qualification.Methods: By comparing with the test results
parameters of the model should be modified.Considering the verification of 1E electronic equipment in consoles
the time histories from analysis should be close to those from test.Results: By means of the modification
the model can match the test in mass
both integral and local modals
and the spectrum around electric component.Conclusions: The verified SRO model is able to represent the test unit in dynamic properties and it is reliable to be used for the further analysis.
