    • Feasibility study of fast neutron yield measurement with 4H-SiC detector

    • In the field of fast neutron yield measurement, 4H SiC detectors have demonstrated excellent performance, providing new solutions for related research. The experiment obtained the pulse amplitude spectrum of the detector, with clear and distinguishable characteristic peaks in the high-energy range. The full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the characteristic peak of 12C (n, α 0) 9Be is 190 keV, with an energy resolution of 2.26%. The flux response to fast neutrons is ε E=8.89 × 10 ^ -6 n ^ -1 · cm ^ -2 (± 7.7%).
